I apprenticed with some of the finest Tailors of London. Their set up is a story in itself, or a short film for another time! For now, lets just say there were four Greek tailors and me, four separate Greek radio stations playing and me.....sweeping, watching, learning and trying my hardest to converse with these men who had been honing their trade since they were 10yrs old (Peter, above, now 75yrs!) I had alot to proove as an aspiring female Tailor, unheard of in their day.
Their main clients are Savile Row, Paul Smith and Angels Costumier. Amazing. An invaluable experience that I'll be forever grateful for. Thanks for opening the door for me chaps!
